What do you need to know about copyright?
To avoid violating the Copyright Act it is important for you as a student to know the rules of scanning and photocopying materials.
When scanning curriculum and supplementary literature you are allowed to scan 20% of a material, however a maximum of 30 pages of the material, and you are not allowed to share the file with anyone outside your household.
